Alphabet
Every country in the world that has a language started with an alphabet. The Japanese alphabet consists of forty eight letters. However the Japanese alphabet is different and instead of them being letters they are more like sounds. It's different when writing too instead of writing horizontally like they do here in Australia they write vertically. Bellow you can find the hiragana alphabet which is to be read vertically not horizontally.
